Sofiaslist is a community-driven classifieds marketplace. These guidelines keep it safe and useful for everyone. Violations may result in your listings being removed or your account being suspended.
Sofiaslist is a community-driven classifieds marketplace. To keep it safe and useful for everyone, all users are expected to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in your listings being removed or your account being suspended.
Describe items and services accurately. Include real photos, honest condition assessments, and correct pricing. Misleading listings damage trust for everyone. If something changes after you post (the item sells, the price drops, or the condition worsens), update or remove the listing promptly.
Do not post duplicate listings, keyword-stuffed ads, or anything designed to mislead buyers. Scam tactics (fake escrow offers, wire transfer requests, overpayment schemes, requests to move conversations off-platform) will result in immediate removal. If a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Neither Sofiaslist nor any legitimate buyer will ever ask you to send money via wire transfer, Western Union, MoneyGram, or gift cards.
Do not post personal information about others without their consent: phone numbers, addresses, photos of people, or private communications. Contact between buyers and sellers happens via email; keep those conversations respectful and on-topic. Sofiaslist never exposes a seller's email address publicly; it is only used to route contact form messages.
The following items, services, and offers are not allowed on Sofiaslist and will be removed. Repeated violations result in account suspension.
No buying, selling, or trading of adult products, and no positioning of products in a sexually suggestive manner.
No buying, selling, or trading of alcohol.
No buying, selling, or trading of human body parts or fluids, including blood, plasma, breast milk, hair, organs, or genetic material.
No buying, selling, or trading of devices that facilitate or encourage streaming digital content in an unauthorised manner, or that interfere with the functionality of electronic devices (modded streaming boxes, jailbroken consoles, signal jammers).
Listings must not wrongfully discriminate or suggest a preference for or against people because of a personal characteristic, including race, ethnicity, color, national origin, citizenship, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, marital status, disability, or medical or genetic condition. Housing listings must comply with the federal Fair Housing Act.
No buying, selling, or trading of real or fake documents, currency, financial instruments, or virtual currency. This includes fake IDs, counterfeit cash, credit card numbers, and crypto-for-cash offers.
No buying, selling, or facilitation of gambling for money or anything else of value, including digital currencies. Gambling includes gaming, betting, lotteries, raffles, casinos, fantasy sports, bingo, poker, and sweepstakes.
No buying, selling, or trading of hazardous materials and substances.
No promotion of any form of human trafficking, prostitution, escort, or sexual services.
No buying, selling, or trading of live animals or animal parts. Pet supplies (collars, food, toys, carriers) are allowed.
No buying, selling, or trading of medical and healthcare products and services, including medical devices or ingestible supplements.
No misleading, violent, or hateful products and offers.
Listings must offer a product, service, or job for sale or exchange. News, humour, or other content that does not offer anything will be removed.
No buying, selling, or trading of drugs, drug paraphernalia, or prescription products.
No buying, selling, or trading of recalled or banned products.
No buying, selling, or trading of items that have been stolen or otherwise acquired unlawfully or without authorisation.
No buying, selling, or trading of downloadable digital content, digital subscriptions, or digital accounts.
No content that infringes upon or violates the intellectual property rights of any third party. This includes counterfeits, replicas, bootleg media, pirated software, and unauthorised distribution of copyrighted works.
No buying, selling, or trading of tobacco products or tobacco paraphernalia, including vapes and e-cigarettes.
No buying, selling, or trading of cosmetics that have been used, or that are not sold in their original packaging.
No buying, selling, or trading of restricted vehicle parts and accessories, including airbags, emissions-defeat devices, and license-plate flippers. Whole vehicles in the Vehicles category are allowed.
No buying, selling, or trading of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, including firearms, components, suppressors, and incomplete frames or receivers.
The following categories are restricted to approved sellers only. Sofiaslist does not currently approve any sellers in these categories, so listings offering these items will be held for review.
No buying, selling, or trading of event tickets, except by approved sellers.
No buying, selling, or trading of gift cards or vouchers, except by approved sellers.
No buying, selling, or trading of pet adoption matching services, except by approved sellers.
If you see a listing that violates these guidelines, use the “Report” button on the listing page. Our team reviews all reports and takes action within 24 hours. For urgent safety concerns, email us at safety@sofiaslist.com.
