As we continue to grow, marketing plays an increasingly important role in building trust, strengthening advisor relationships, and communicating our value to prospective clients. We are seeking a Marketing Manager to help shape and execute that vision.
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager will lead the planning, execution, and measurement of Blue Fund’s marketing initiatives across brand, content, digital marketing, events, and advisor support. This role serves as the bridge between strategy and execution, partnering closely with leadership, advisors, compliance, and external vendors.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and understands how to communicate complex financial topics in a clear, compelling, and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
* Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with firm growth objectives.
* Define target audiences and messaging strategies across client and prospect segments.
* Establish measurable goals for brand awareness, lead generation, client retention, and advisor support.
* Support market positioning and competitive differentiation efforts.
Brand & Content Marketing
* Maintain brand standards, messaging consistency, and voice across all channels.
* Manage the editorial calendar, including thought leadership, market commentary, educational content, and client communications.
* Write, edit, and oversee the creation of marketing content across digital and print formats.
* Translate complex financial concepts into accessible, client-friendly communications.
Digital Marketing
* Oversee website content, SEO, user experience, and conversion optimization.
* Manage email marketing campaigns, automation workflows, and audience segmentation.
* Coordinate paid and organic marketing initiatives across search and social channels.
* Support CRM integration, lead tracking, and marketing technology optimization.
Lead Generation & Advisor Support
* Execute demand-generation campaigns that drive qualified prospect engagement.
* Create advisor-facing and client-facing collateral, including presentations, one-pagers, and proposal materials.
* Partner with advisors on compliant personal branding and outreach initiatives.
* Monitor lead progression and conversion metrics throughout the client acquisition funnel.
Events & Partnerships
* Plan and execute seminars, webinars, client events, sponsorships, and community engagements.
* Coordinate vendors, logistics, promotion, and post-event follow-up.
* Measure event effectiveness and business impact.
Compliance & Risk Management
* Collaborate with compliance to ensure all marketing communications meet applicable regulatory requirements.
* Maintain approval workflows, documentation, and recordkeeping standards.
* Monitor regulatory developments affecting financial services marketing.
Analytics & Reporting
* Track campaign performance and marketing effectiveness through dashboards and reporting.
* Analyze data and recommend optimizations based on measurable outcomes.
* Manage marketing budgets and evaluate return on investment.
Vendor & Team Management
* Manage agencies, freelancers, technology vendors, and external partners.
* Support the development of junior team members as the department grows.
* Improve marketing processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
Success in the Role
First 30 Days
* Gain a deep understanding of Blue Fund’s clients, advisors, services, and brand.
* Assess current marketing programs, technology, and performance.
* Identify immediate opportunities for improvement.
First 90 Days
* Deliver a documented marketing plan with defined priorities and metrics.
* Launch or optimize key campaigns.
* Establish regular reporting and stakeholder communication processes.
First Year
* Increase qualified lead generation and advisor engagement.
* Strengthen brand consistency across all channels.
* Build a scalable, measurable marketing engine that supports firm growth.
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field.
* 5+ years of marketing experience, including experience within financial services or another regulated industry.
* Proven success managing marketing programs from strategy through execution and analysis.
* Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
* Experience with digital marketing, email campaigns, SEO, analytics, and website management.
* Familiarity with compliance review processes and regulated communications.
* Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
Preferred
* Wealth management, asset management, banking, or financial advisory experience.
* Experience marketing to high-net-worth or institutional audiences.
* Knowledge of financial advertising and recordkeeping requirements.
* Event marketing and webinar management experience.
* Working familiarity with creative and design tools.
* Professional marketing certifications or relevant financial services credentials.
* Experience building processes within a growing organization.
